WKRP Cincinnati is an oldies radio station for the Cincinnati and Dayton areas, presented on iHeart as "America's Favorite Radio Station". On its own website the station calls itself "Where The Music Went" and says it plays thousands of songs from the 1960s, 70s and early 80s, a much larger library than the few hundred songs many FM stations rotate. It mixes the hits with forgotten songs and the classics that, in the station's words, "somehow disappeared from the airwaves".

WKRP is one program carried on three FM signals, and RADIO JOX lists each one under its own city. In Cincinnati, Ohio it is 97.7 FM, call sign WKRP-FM (FCC facility 3653, licensed to Mason, Ohio, licensee Radioactive, LLC). In Covington and Northern Kentucky it is 106.7 FM, call sign WNKR (FCC facility 24817, licensed to Williamstown, Kentucky, licensee Grant County Broadcasters, Inc.). In Dayton, Ohio it is 94.5 FM, call sign WOXY (FCC facility 55501, licensed to Englewood, Ohio, licensee Radioactive, LLC). All three signals carry the WKRP brand. According to the station, together they reach from Georgetown, Kentucky through Cincinnati and on for more than 150 miles to Dayton and Sidney, Ohio.

The name will be familiar to television fans: the station uses the same call letters and brand as the fictional radio station in the CBS sitcom "WKRP in Cincinnati", which aired from 1978 to 1982. This listing does not imply any affiliation with, or endorsement by, the show's producers.
